It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife. The figures, dating from approximately the late third century BCE, were discovered in 1974 by local farmers in Lintong District, Xi'an, Shaanxi province. The figures vary in height according to their roles, with the tallest being the generals. The figures include warriors, chariots and horses. Estimates from 2007 were that the three pits containing the Terracotta Army held more than 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses, the majority of which remained buried in the pits nearby Qin Shi Huang's mausoleum. Other terracotta non-military figures were found in other pits, including officials, acrobats, strongmen and musicians.  less

They could have done other things, had other careers and not have had the rug pulled out from under them by a bigot who is driven by the extreme religious right. Executives get "golden parachutes" when they leave a company. Often it is by choice. If successful these military folks will have no choice at all. That is not the way we should be treating those who have served our country. You don't just toss them out on the trash heap because a bunch of bigots want then to go. That is not the American way. That is the TRUMPIAN way but by golly he should not get away with it. It is shameful.   less

Now do YOU believe there is an equivalency between the lies of the two or do you believe that Doofus Donny has taken lying to new heights and can out-lie anyone at any time about anything? Can anyone beat him at the egregiousness of his lies and the multiplicity of them and the callous and cruel way he attacks people with those lies? He is definitely the LIAR-IN-CHIEF bar none. He has raised the bar so high that no one will ever be able to top him/eclipse him/match him. All liars are not alike. Trump is the very very best at it. He has a natural talent for it. There are other liquids besides water such as grain alcohol, rubbing alcohol, gasoline, benzene, olive oil and mercury. If you dip your finger into a pool of mercury your finger comes out dry. Dip a candle into water and it doesn't get wet. The molecules don't bond. They are not attracted to each other. Wetness is a relative term. Some liquids are wetter than others. Water isn't a very good wetter as liquids go. Alcohol is much  better than water as a wetter. All liquids aren't wet and even water is sometimes dry.My oh my what you can find out when you ask Google a question. So the answer to "why is water wet" is complicated.  less
