I mean where else do you get that complete control as long as you are there.Well at home we have an answering machine and screen all calls before we pick. Back in the day you either answered not knowing what was on the other end or let it ring which was unnerving.Now? Best of both worlds. You know in advance and do what you want.Also you can be at home and just not answer the knock or the bell.However once you go out and about you are at the mercy of whatever else and whoever else and whoMever else is out there too. You can get shot dead out there. less
