I felt rather peaceful at that moment, his life was not worth living anymore. And I had been at the breaking point, mentally and physically, I was his caregiver at home. Now, being 84, I begin a life I never knew, doing EVERYTHING myself and living alone ( with my cat ), starting with all the phone calls and paper work.
