I enjoy the sporadic discounts that I am eligible for, but they announce many of them in a week’s time, generating many messages. I think I’ve only needed them every couple of months. All cities and towns near me have sirens, but I live too far away from town to hear them. My dogs can hear them just fine! They start howling once a month at noon when they get tested. Other methods would be the Emergency Alert System on TV and radio and emergency phone alerts which I get. I also have a weather radio which is probably the most important thing I have since I live on a farm that’s seven or eight miles from the nearest town. less
