Good positive loving ki... moreI have always thought of prayer chains as being a good thing, a kind thing, a loving thing. A family is hurting because a loved one is dying or in jeopardy. Good positive loving kind thoughts blend together in the chain and surround them and strengthen them. But if you can have a loving supportive positive prayer chain can you also have the opposite? Does God listen to prayers that target the destruction of "thine enemy or the enemy of thy beloved"? Have you ever personally prayed for the destruction of someone? Did it work? Do you feel as good about yourself praying for the destruction of those you hate as you do praying for the survival of those you love? Is that what being a "good Christian" means? If not, what does it mean? less

It is a very comfy place to be. That way you can totally believe every word he says about everything all the time no matter what. I can understand how easily one could fall for that. Each day stands alone and is all the matters. Only NOW. There was no before and all tomorrows will take care of themselves. Must be nice to live in that reality. :( less

So we really can't communicate. I say don juan is a liar. His supporters believe he has never lied or he has lied but it doesn't matter. I'm not sure which it is. I say don juan has done illegal things to make himself wealthier. His supporters say if he has so what or no he hasn't done anything he isn't entitled to do. I say he is corrupt and employs the corrupt to screw we the people and embellish himself. His supporters say no you've got it all wrong. Everything he does is because he is so patriotic. Everything he says is because he loves the people and the country. Obviously there is a SEVERE lack of communication. I think I see clearly. They think they see clearly. Somebody is wearing blinders. Any poor men who are pigs? I dunno folks. It's illuminating and distressing simultaneously. What is a man anyway? A bunch of gender-specific parts that are used to harm women whenever and wherever and however they can? That can't be. So what makes some/many men pigs and some gentlemanly and respectful?
