A portion of Melania's speech praising values and hard work was eerily similar to Obama's Democratic National Convention speech she delivered in Denver in 2008.
“From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond; that you do what you say,” Trump said in Cleveland.
The phrase mirrors the First Lady’s speech praising values she shared with President Obama during her speech in 2008.
“Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values: like, you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond; that you do what you say you're going to do,” Obama said on stage in Denver.
The Donald Trump campaign offered no explanation for the stolen words in a statement issued early Tuesday and instead, it showered her speech with praise.... less

Meaning people don't seem to grow up emotionally and behaviorally, and of course this isn't true of everybody all the time. I just barely remember having heard some of Hitler's speeches as a young teenager, and I've always wondered how sane and decent Germans could have been persuaded by such hate-saturated ranting -but later I learned German, I've watched Nazi propaganda films, I've studied history, and frankly I am shocked by the parallels with tonight's obviously carefully planned performance.
We're going to renew our passports -soon. I strongly advise those of you who are in the LGBT community to do likewise. If you think I'm over-reacting, pay close attention to the rhetoric coming out of Cleveland and look into what the Nazis did to homosexuals. less

I was young with two small kids. My husband decided to move in with a girl he met at the store. I had a part time job making $400 a month. I prayed to God to give me wisdom. He told me in my heart, and in the Bible to put God first in everything even my money, so I did. I gave 10 % to the church which was going to make me low on my rent in 3 weeks. But in the Bible, book of Micah, it says "I challenge you to trust me, give me your first and I will pour down heaven for you" so I trusted him. After 2 weeks I received a knock on my door. A lady that I had given a ride to visit her friend in a nursing home a couple of times had died she said, and she wanted to give me all the money from the gift she had inherited from her friend $22,000. I could pay my rent. God never fails us...I have challenged God by putting all my eggs in Jesus basket. It was the right basket! less

The third time was at the Parksville riot of 93 compared to the other 2 riots it was a picnic no one got hurt and the cops had it under control in a half hour. Cheers! less
