I could lie on in wait for extremely long periods of time, lulling the masses into a false sense of calm and bliss, and then suddenly without any warning, unleash my fury and wrath by rumbling and exploding and spewing forth the pent-up collection of rocks and gravel and mud and ash all over the surrounding countryside. Or, I could be a jutting peninsula encircled by a warm body of blue-green water. Meh, I’m flexible. ~ less

Can you think back to the way you thought of them in anticipation of their births?

It was already an oldie when I remember my parents blasting it on the record player as a .45 single. They had stacks and stacks of those things, they played all the old R&B favorites back then. Being only about four or five years old, I didn't know much about the song at all other than loving how it sounded, and I knew absolutely nothing about who sang it. I had not heard it since my childhood when it suddenly popped up again in my mid twenties, taking me back to those childhood memories. I looked into it and found that the group singing it, The Essex, was made up of five US Marines, four men and one woman. I had also joined the Marine Corps at age eighteen, and eventually I was stationed at both Okinawa, Japan and later, Camp LeJeune, North Carolina; the same places where the band members had collectively been stationed. I was still on active duty when I discovered the background of the group. Little did I k... less

Folger? All of the examples I used existed at one time or another, either when I was a little kid growing up, or in my travels around the world throughout my lifetime. To my knowledge, none of them retained those names.~

It was a lot softer then I thought it was going to be and a roll seems to last longer because it's stronger so you don't have to use as much. It probably makes less of a carbon footprint so I am going to start getting it all the time. Cheers!

1)David Bowie's "Let's Dance" from the 2:50 to 2:55 marks -- when he sings " tremble like a FloWERRR!!"The way he stresses the "WER" syllable! HOT to me! Ha!2)Deniece Williams "Let's Hear It for the Boy" the literal, one second moment at 3:29 -- she jumps way up high with her voice! So effortlessly!! Beautiful to me! And I often think "Take THAT, Mariah Carey! Mariah, you try to show off too much. Deniece just lets it fly for one second, yes!"And I admit - - Carey has a great voice, I just much prefer how Williams uses her voice in this song. less

These kinds of pages are made for all sorts of products/ services, so if neither of the examples resonates with you, try to imagine how you'd feel if it was something you actually wanted or cared about. (I found them at random on Google search.) What are your thoughts when you see pages like this? Do you feel they make a compelling case or do they put you off?
