One Friday she asked me what I was doing for the weekend and I told her I would probably be parting at the Seminal House (a dive bar). She showed up at that bar on Saturday - sat down with me and bought us 2 draft beers each. When she excused her self to go to the washroom I watched her walk away and I thought hubba hubba  because it was the first time I saw her not wearing a baggy fitting K-Mart uniform. Then my attention turned to her draft beers and I took a couple of gulps out of each of her glasses. When she got back to the table she pretended not to notice that I had drunk some of her beer and I thought hey this could be the start of a beautiful friendship. Cheers! (should add that my wife is still in the hospital and I am still hoping she will make a miraculous recovery and come home to me)  less

It is the price of Diesel fuel and the inflation. It has not fallen. The vast majority of our goods delivery systems, railroads and trucks, run on Diesel. Another media manipulation?

In my upbringing and in my parents’ household, especially due to the times back then, it was unspoken yet truly understood that there wouldn’t be any such shenanigans nor any type of that nonsense going on, so don’t even entertain the thought. Heck, I was always the nerdy bookworm geek kid anyway, so I wasn’t really attracting anyone’s attention anyway.
When I was between 8 and 13 years old (I can’t remember exactly when this happened), my younger brother “stole” two separate “girlfriends” from me on two separate occasions, and for more than a decade or two, it really bugged me.

A pet peeve of mine is when people write an address without the last part, eg 100 Central instead of 100 Central Avenue. Grrrrr. Does this bother you?
