For me, it was that my mother taught me to read when I was about two or three years old. It has always reaped so many glorious benefits in my life that I am deeply indebted to her for it. In turn, I did the same with my children, and even though I didn’t hear it until they were grown, they thanked me for it.~

Then he went on a rant about how a person with a baseball bat could kill just as many people as a person with an assault riffle in the same amount of time. I suppose that could be true if there was a long line of people nailed to the floor and the person with the bat could go along the line and take the people out one at a time. But besides that Jr. doesn't know what he is talking about and it was just his sick way of justifying assault weapons. Cheers! less

The stupidest one I heard by another politician was that parents should buy their children colorful bullet proof blankets that they could hang on the wall when not in use and brighten up the classroom.
