The juice has nowhere to go but straight in and the natural sugar as not a good thing to hit like that. Giving juices to kids is also not good on an empty stomach. Mother's Day was approaching. I got a call from his best friend who was attending college locally who invited me out for a Mother's Day Brunch at the beach!It was a restaurant at Malibu. Ever see the TV Show Rockford Files. It was that restaurant. We lived in the San Fernando Valley at the time so it was quite a trek. After breakfast we just walked on the beach for awhile. A PERFECT day to do that. He spent a few hours with me and I felt so privileged and honored that my son's friend would do that for me.
