Have him say "I'm the one who got the idea and I'm completely responsible for it"? When did you ever hear any big shot say that?

What determines what parts of the DNA kick in after birth and which run silently/mutely beneath the surface having little or no effect?

If he paid any attentio at all to the Republican town hall meetings and what the Republican constituents told their legislators he would know that what HE thinks is best for us isn't at all what WE think is best for us. When I say "us" I mean Republicans and Democrats alike. We the people. Bipartisan, not partisan. The pols must really think we the people are dumb as mud to think for a moment we buy that line. :( less

Are such words informative and useful or are they all expendable? If you say someone is intelligent is that OK? But it's not OK to say he/she isn't so smart? If someone does a good deed should that be quietly/silently observed or commended out loud? Then what if the person does a bad deed? Are we not allowed to point that out? It's interesting how people view communication/language. For every proponent there is an opponent. You choose sides and then stay on that side and judge those who don't agree. Human nature. less
They are hardly ever affected by the laws they pass and I'm talking about the Republican Party as well as the Democratic Party. What affects us should also affect them.
