It takes a very secure man to acknowlege a woman as his equal at least intellectually. About physical strength most men are stronger than women I think but of course there are exceptions to that.

Her character, especially in the ending scenes, is so FRIGHTENED - - for good reasons! I felt terrified along with her because I had come to care about her during the movie.It's a great movie to me and I find Duvall possibly the best part of it.Do you have a movie in your head in which, when the movie is mentioned you immediately think of a cast member? less
